The real immigration question that needs to be answered is who is running this country of ours, the law abiding legal residents or the the illegal alien residents. The way the politicians are acting with this new immigration proposal it seems the illegal aliens are. They have bent over backward to accomodate them even though these illegals have broken the laws of our country by being here. This is a great lesson to teach the youth of our country namely that you can break our immigration laws and get away with it too. We as Americans, have been taught to respect the law but then we get this thrown in our faces by the disrepect for the law that these illegal aliens have displayed to us and our system of laws.If this passes we are going to be in deep trouble as a nation for our system of laws will no longer be sacred. God help us when that happens............

The Democrats want to fight this war instead of using our armed forces for they are trying to usurp the war powers given to the President by the Constitution. Their idea of war is to declare war and then surrender immediately believing that they can talk the enemy out of killing as they have done up to this date. They are so naive and it scares me for it leads me to believe they would sell this country down the river if they could achieve peace even if they had to give up half the world in doing so. What happened to the strength that made this country great and the character that our leadership had shown in previous years. It is so sad to see our country become a country of surrender rather than a country of strength and we as Americans are going to pay a heavy price in correcting this situation in the future. God help us.........

The Democrats have become the party of surrender willing to sacrifice this country and everyone in to achieve their end --winning a national election. They will stoop to any new low to become the Party who leads this country even if it means losing our national integrity or honor in the process. Victory at any cost even if it means losing our fredoms which we have fought for a couple of hundred years.I never thought I would see the day that winning is more important than the freedoms we cherish so dearly. People say that the Iraq war is lost and we should not win, but at what price is that losing --the lost of our national heritage and our national freedoms. The Democratic Party used to be the party of the downtrodden and weak and it has now become the Party of the radical and bazarre. God help our country.......

Senator Harry Reid's announcement that the war is lost is just another indication to what lengths the Democrats will gos to win an election. Never mind the soldiers dying and risking their lives in Iraq, what is most important is that the Democrats win next year no matter what the cost. If they have to sell us and our country down the river so be it for the election is everything and winning a war is not. The worst thing that could happen to the Democrats is to have the Iraq situation become stabilized and we actually be winning. Our country has never in its long history had politicians rooting against a war and the troops that out fighting it but that is exactly what the Democrats are doing. These defeatist politicians make me ashamed to call them fellow county men and instead they should be called for the cowards that they are. God help our country if they ever get full control for they will become nothing but appeasers and then you will really see this country sold down the drain........

The real immigration question is who is really running this country-we the rightful legal citizens of this country or the illegal aliens who broke the law in entering this country. The answer from the politicians of both political parties seems to be the illegal aliens, for the members of both parties seem to be bending over backward to accomodate these people. You expect us to obey the law and yet you politicians want to turn a blind eye to these illegal aliens and grant them full citizenship although they do not deserve it. Thank you for pointing out what the rule of law truly means-a law is only good if the government backs it which they are not doing in the case of the national government enforcement of our immigration laws. Maybe we should start picking and choosing which laws we will follow and which ones we will not. After all it is a free country and we are only following the example of the politicians of both political parties have set on immigration........
