Senator Obama has not distanced himself from the anti-American rhetoric of his spiritual advisor Rev. Wright and his slamming of America. This advisor has accused America of every crime under the sun including genocide and the Senator, the longer he goes without totally denouncing him and distancing himself from him leads me to believe that deep down he agrees with what the Rev. has said. This Senator wants to lead our country but it seems to me that he is so afraid of offending his black constituents that he cannot come out cut himself off from the Rev. Wright. At the same time if he does not do it he will lose the majority of Americans who do believe in this country and all it stands for, putting himself between a rock and a hard place. I think that he is hoping that the media who has bent over backward to support him will help him to weather this storm by not pushing to hard on this subject. He cannot have it both ways and lead this country......

The Democratic Party has put itself in the position where it soon will descend into utter chaos for no matter who wins the nomination for President, they will surely alienate a part of the party. It could be minority groups or it could be women voters--someone is going to be unhappy with the results, This is especially true if a back room deal is made to get Hillary Clinton elected even though Obama may have won the popular vote. If Obama is given the vote, women are going to feel that the "good old boys" will never elect a woman over a man although the Democrats profess to be a party of progresssive thinkers. Somebody is going to have to pay for being slighted by the party and it may be a case of either the minority voters or the women voters sitting this election out. The other thing to remember too is that if a backroom deal is made those politicians who made the deal are going to feel the wrath of the outraged voters. I never thought that I would say it but the Republicans seem more unified than the Democrats ever will be. Good luck Democrats and let the fight begin..........

Senator Obama is currently in the lead for the Democratic candidate for President and there is one thing that puzzles me. We are fighting Islamic terrorists and now we are considering electing a person of the Islamic religion to lead us in this fight. Is that not like putting the fox in charge of the hen house and expecting everything to come out OK. I am sure that Senator Obama is a good person but it still bothers me as to what he will do if we are attacked by these radicals agsain. From everything I have seen he seems to think he can negoiate with these people which is not going to happen as the death of almost 3000 of our citizens will attest. He is so naive that it scares me to think that he maybe in charge of the security of our country. He is the modern day President Jimmy Carter for he appears to be a person who cannot bring himself to make the hard decisions that our country needs to make in this war. Maybe it is time we take off the rose covered glasses and take a real look at this candidATE......

The Democratic Party when they hold their Party convention next year will march into the Convention under the White Flag of surrender and not under the American Flag. Based on what they have indicated what they will do in Iraq and other places in the world, that is the only flag that they will recognize. This once was the Party that stood up to oppression and tyranny, but now it has become a sorry excuse for a political party. In addition to the white flags, they will also be wearing a white lap pin instead of the American Flag, for to win an election at any cost they are willing.to surrender this country of ours to our enemies. God help this country for they will sell this country down the drain in order to win a national election. You should feel real proud of yourself Democrats..............

The biggesr lie being told by both political parties is the belief that the new immigration bill is not amnesty. If you are legalizing people whom are here originally by breaking the law then it is still amnesty. No matter how they try to bury it under every other name it is still amnesty. Some times our political leaders try to treat us as children and say what is bvest for us without telling us why. What they do not realize is that we as Americans are fed up with these quick fixes for this immigration problem for there is no such thing. It is going to take a well thought out solution to this problem and not this caving in to the illegal immigration crowd that they are trying to do with this immigration bill. One other problem is why do they not ask we legal Americans for solutions for there are many good ideas out there for this imigration problem. That would be expecting too much from our political leaders though.........
