Senator Obama purposely did not visit the wounded troops and it got me to wondering why since he seems to be all about getting the publicity. Then it hit me that maybe because as he has been opposed to the Iraq War, he might not want his supporters be saying that he is supporting it by visiting these brave troops especially when he refuses to even admit that the "surge" in Iraq has worked. Another possiblity could be and it is a question that needs asking of him by someone in the press, is it possible that he knows that if he is elected as president he might one day have to send our troops into a hostile situation that might result in those troops being killed or wounded and he did not want to be reminded of it by visiting those wounded troops? It makes you wonder whether he ever will use the troops or will he as he is always saying try to negoiate with the terrorists and as a result let them run rough shod over our country. It makes you wonder whether he has the "guts" to do the job as Commander in Chief. Only time will tell whether those wonders will become reality......

Senator Obama when you listen to him has solutions to everything under the sun but unfortunately they are in comstnt conflict with each other. If you listen to him closely spending money seems to be them prmary method to solve all of our problems even if we have to tax an already overburden middle income tax payers to pay for it. If he had his way we would be paying more taxes to support his liberal programs with no end in sight in how much it will cost and how much the middle class will be socked with the tax bill. This man has no concept what it is to live pay check to pay check and struggle to make ends meeet. This was reflected in his comment on religion and guns putting all of us middle class in tht category. He has become the typical politician willing to lie and cheat his way to victory any way that he can even if it means selling our country down the drain and bringing it to bankruptcy in the proces. God help- our country if he gets elected.........

Having listened to Senator Obama a number of times and what he has previously said his actual philosophy is so hard to understand because it is always changing. He says he wants change but always seems to cater his thoughts to the audience he is talking to and as a result he contridicts himself and what he has said previously. The one theme that seems to come through all of this is that he wants peace in the world at all costs for he portrays himself as the great humnitarian. I wonder if that means he is willing to demean ourselves to our enemies in order to achieve that peace. Unfortunately the world does not work that way and giving into our enemies through talks in order to achieve his peace ego would do great harm to our country. We have in our long country"s history fought for our freedoms and we will not let anyone deal that away in the name of peace. Peace at any cost is no option..........

Senator obama has tried to indicate what he would do as Commander in Chief and quite frankly he leaves a lot lacking. When he says that he does not have to wear the America flag pin , that let's me know great deal about how he feels about this country and patriotism. He has not served in the military so he has no concept on what is to put your life on the line for your country or even shed your blood for it. When he talks about having meetings with all of these leaders who are trying to destroy both Israel and the US without pre-conditions, it smacks of a sell out for peace at any price ala President Jimmy Carter. Is he so stupid to believe that these leaders are not going to lie and cheat him and his efforts in order to gain an advantage over our country. The trouble with leaders like him is that they live in a dream world and try not to recognize the REAL world and the way it truly is. The scary part is that he truly believes in what he is saying. God help us if he becomes our President for I can see him doing and agreeing to anything to gain peace in the world. The world does not work that way........

Senator Obama has a big problem in the name of Rev. Wright who has managed to cut his campaign down to size for it raises serious questions on what Senator Obama knew and when he knew it. Let us stop making excuses for the Senator and ask the question everyone wants answered namely how he could sit in Rev. Wright's curch for 20 years and not hear the anti-American statements made their in his sermons. Is he trying to make us believe that he (Senator Obama) slept through these sermons and heard nothing. It sort of reminds you of Sgt. Schultz from the Hogan Heroes who always said when confronted, "I know nothing". I know some preachers have such a boring sermon that they can put you to sleep but Rev. Wright is not one of them. The other question that needs to be asked is what does this say about Senator Obasma's judgment and is he now behaving like every other politician and trying to cover his ass anyway that he can. So much for the great change that he has preached.......
