Senator Harry Reid's announcement that the war is lost is just another indication to what lengths the Democrats will gos to win an election. Never mind the soldiers dying and risking their lives in Iraq, what is most important is that the Democrats win next year no matter what the cost. If they have to sell us and our country down the river so be it for the election is everything and winning a war is not. The worst thing that could happen to the Democrats is to have the Iraq situation become stabilized and we actually be winning. Our country has never in its long history had politicians rooting against a war and the troops that out fighting it but that is exactly what the Democrats are doing. These defeatist politicians make me ashamed to call them fellow county men and instead they should be called for the cowards that they are. God help our country if they ever get full control for they will become nothing but appeasers and then you will really see this country sold down the drain........

The real immigration question is who is really running this country-we the rightful legal citizens of this country or the illegal aliens who broke the law in entering this country. The answer from the politicians of both political parties seems to be the illegal aliens, for the members of both parties seem to be bending over backward to accomodate these people. You expect us to obey the law and yet you politicians want to turn a blind eye to these illegal aliens and grant them full citizenship although they do not deserve it. Thank you for pointing out what the rule of law truly means-a law is only good if the government backs it which they are not doing in the case of the national government enforcement of our immigration laws. Maybe we should start picking and choosing which laws we will follow and which ones we will not. After all it is a free country and we are only following the example of the politicians of both political parties have set on immigration........

The Democrats will sell us and our freedoms down the river to get elected. So far in this new Congress anything goes as long as it hurts the President and his party even if it means lying and telling half truths to we the public. These Democrats were elected to effect change to get some laws passed to govern our country and so far all they have done is go after people in the Executive Branch of government instead of governing the people like they were elected to do. It has become a personal vandetta against the President instead of one the branches of government that makes the laws. We are going to have investigations for the next two years rather than leading us like they should. I am ashamed to admit they are one of the political parties in our government for they have not acted in the time honored tradition that their party had done in previous years. Shame on your party.......
