So many Democrats in government have attacked the President with a profound hatred that borders on the lunatic fringe. It us to be that people would respect the office of President no matter who was in that office but now there seems to be a lot of Democrats who are so caught up in their hatred of the President that they are trying to usurp his powers as Commander -in-Chief aswell as his powers as President as evidenced by their fight over the fired Federal attorneys. Our founding fathers were smart in not letting the powers of government be held completely by one of the branches of government but rather be shared by all three. Them Democrats want to change that and have all of the powers be held by Congress, a very dangerous concept which our forefathers never wanted. We as voters need to speak out against this concept or we are going to lose the very freedoms that our forefathers gave us when they provided for the separation of government.......

The Democrats with their passage of the bill to limit spending on the Iraq war are depriving our soldiers of the needed supportm to complete the task. As a war veteran, I am totally ashamed that elected officials would do this for the fighting men of our country have always heeded our country"s call and when it calls for sacrafice have done so willingly and many have paid the ultimate sacrifice in doing so. No matter how they try to "spin" it they are turning their backs on our soldiers and making me feel so ashamed as an American for they are breaking the compact that has always existed between our civilian population and our military. Shame on you Democrats for have you no conscience or does your hatred for the present President and our country in general make you turn your back on the fundamentals that always made our country great. Here is one veteran that will think long and hard before he will vote Democrat again and I hope there are a lot more veterans out there who also think the same way and will make the same pledge..You have gone to far........

Too many of the Democratic leaders in congress are so consumed with hatred of the the President that they have let their judgement become consumed with this hatred and are not governing as the people who elected them want them to govern. They have forgotten that they are elected by the people and the people want good government not a jihad against the President as they are doing now. They are looking for any excuse to haul the President before them to try an make fools of him and his advisors and to hell with the rest of the country. Too many of these Democratic leaders have been swayed by the lunatic left wing fringe of their party and I will tell you right now if they continue to do so they are going to do they lose big in 2008 election for the American people will not stand for the lunatic fringe to govern them. If the Democrats want to be sent back to the wilderness and out of power just continue what they are doing. Did they not learn anything in being out of power all those years? Remember those who do not learn from history will live to relive again and again.............

The Democratic Party has become the party of division with the far left wanting to challenge the entire American way of life with no restrictions and the more moderates wanting to do a middle of the row course. If the far left wins the Democratic Party will be a minority party for the next century. Americans are middle of the roaders and do not believe in this progressive anything goes crap. As Abraham Lincoln said so plainly A house divided against itelf cannot stand so it is the same for a political party. Hopefully their are people in the party who are smart enough to realize how hurt full this division is and use some common sense to repair the damage. Democrats are their own worse enemy........

We have a conflict concerning the Iraq war which is on the one hand we have the Democrats saying we need to get out of there as soon as possible and on the other hand we have people saying that if we do not stay the course we will surely be fighting these fanatics here on our own soil. Whether we like it or not it is better we fight them there than fighting them here. No matter how hard we try to put on the blinders our getting out of Iraq is only going to postpone the conflict until it happens on our shores again. The thing that we have to face up to is that this is clash between religious philosophies or ideologies and we as a nation cannot live under strict Islamic life because our free American spirit will not let us do that as we cherish our freedoms too much. Live free or die trying.........
